Hahaha! This really happened. We aren't making it up.
Apparently the home plate umpire during Wednesday night's Daytona Cubs vs. Ft. Myers Miracle game was just a "Tad" bit sensitive.
You might be asking "What is he so sensitive about?".
Well, we aren't sure what got under his skin...or if he's just got no sense of humor, but he got sufficiently angry enough in between innings of Wednesday's game to toss the guy playing music in the stadium...out of the game.
That's right, he tossed the "Music Guy" Derek Dye. Tossed Dye for playing "Three Blind Mice."
And yeah...it's as funny as you think.
According to the Cubs YouTube page, he also demanded no music or PA announcements during the rest of the game.
Wow! Who knew the all-knowing ump had that much control.
