And yeah, we are thinking the same thing that you probably are.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced today (Tue) their list of free-agent signee's who will appear at their rookie camp. Among the players on the list...kicker Long Ding.

That's right, Long Ding.

Ding, a native of China, is a graduate of Norwich University in Vermont. And he was apparently a pretty good kicker there too going 13-16 this past season with a long kick of 51 yards.

There is no telling if Ding will actually make the Jaguar roster, they have an incumbent kicker, Josh Scobee who has been pretty good over the past few seasons.

But to mangle a cliche'; he's got a kickers chance.

Because we can't avoid going here, this is kind of stereotyped, but also the main reason this story caught our attention.
