Rangers win Triple OT Thriller

If you haven't watched any of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs, then you are missing out on some of the most exciting games on Sports TV today.

Wednesday nights Washington Capitals/New York Rangers game reinforced it.

The Rangers fought to a draw with the Capitals for 3-periods and 2-plus overtimes. They ended up with the 2-1 win after Marian Gaborik knocked home the game winner with 14:41 to go in the 3rd overtime and the Rangers left the Verizon Center in D.C with a 2-1 series lead.

We're guessing there are going to be some awfully tired hockey players after this one. Ranger defenseman Ryan McDonagh, well, he played 53-plus minutes. Marc Staal clocked in with 49:30.

Thankfully, both teams have the next two days off. Game 4 is set for 12:30pm on Saturday.
