The case of Jordan Schafer and the Marijuana Peanut Butter Cup

You know, there are just some things you can't make up. This story is one of them.

Current Houston Astro and former Atlanta Braves centerfielder Jordan Schafer was arrested early Tuesday morning for possession of Marijuana. He's not the first athlete to get arrested for that nor will he be the last.

It's what he did and where some of the illegal substance was that is drawing the attention.

According to ABCActionNews in Tampa, Schafer was pulled over just after midnight when a police officer saw him smoking a joint while driving his Land Rover, there were 3 others in the car with him.

That's when it gets funny.

Not only did Schafer admit to smoking the drug, police found more of it. In a plastic cup in the car...and in not one, but 3 Peanut Butter cups.

No really. Peanut Butter cups.

Schafer, who grew up in nearby Haines City was once a "Wunderkind" prospect for the Braves before being traded to the Astros during the 2011 season. And yes, he's had some issues before.

In 2009, he missed 50 games after testing positive for HGH.

No telling at this point if there will be any repercussions...other than we are assuming will be an onslaught of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup jokes.
