A little over a week ago, a drunk driver killed four members of the Grande Prairie Composite ((AB)) High football team with a 5th currently in a medically-induced coma because of the extent of his injuries...
21-year-old Brenden Holubowich is up on 11 charges, including four counts of impaired driving causing death and one count of failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
He was scheduled to show in court this morning, but the case was continued until the end of the month at the request of counsel.
The memorial service was yesterday while the semi-final playoff for the team was Saturday... and they shut out their opponent 40-0...
